Step 4. Submit Supporting Documents

After filling out the application form, you'll need to submit the required documents:

  • Self-Attested ID Proof: Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or any other valid government-issued ID.
  • Self-Attested Address Proof: Utility bill, bank statement, or any other valid address proof.
  • Passport-size Photograph: Attach your photo to the form.

Step 5 Complete Identity Verification

The verification process depends on the CA's requirements and the class of DSC you're applying for:

  • Online Verification: For Class 1 and Class 2 DSCs, you may be able to complete the verification online via Aadhaar-based e-KYC, OTP, or email verification.
  • In-Person Verification (IPV): For Class 3 DSCs, physical verification is often required. You may need to visit a local office, or a CA representative will conduct a face-to-face verification.

Step 6. Make the Payment
